United Way Food Bank has been in operation for around a decade-and-a-half. Dedicated to fighting the poverty that is plaguing our nation more and more (most recent figures showed that nearly 1 in 8 of all Americans are battling poverty – many of these are children), United Way Food Bank engages in substantial fundraising – throughout the year – to ensure Americans do not go starving.
